Last week:
- After performing in Poughkeepsie, New York last Sunday, P7 had a few days of much needed R&R. However, as the saying goes, “There’s no rest for the wicked.” The dancers were back in the studio on Thursday and Friday with Creative Director Matt Kent and Artistic Associate and Rehearsal Director Renee Jaworski to work on Contradance, the new Dan Zanes collaboration. The piece will be premiered on July 1, 2, and 3, 2010 at the American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina.
- We published a post about a documentary on Martha Clarke, one of the original women of Pilobolus. The 1980 film is about an hour long and available for free on Hulu, thanks to TenduTV.
That’s all for now! P7 will be in the studio for the next three weeks, getting ready for our end-of-season summer run at the Joyce Theater in NYC. Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks!
